2022 MLB odds, picks, bets for Tuesday, June 28 from proven model: This four-way parlay pays almost 13-1

The New York Mets will try to exact revenge on the Houston Astros when the two teams open a two-game series on Tuesday at Citi Field. Last week the Mets (47-27), who have the best record in the National League, dropped both games of a two-game series to the Astros in Houston. The Astros (45-27) are coming off a split of a four-game series against the Yankees in the Bronx. Houston is a -125 favorite in the latest Astros vs. Mets odds from Caesars Sportsbook while New York is a +105 underdog.

First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. ET from Queens, N.Y. The game is one of 16 on the MLB schedule for Tuesday. Elsewhere in the majors, the Braves take on the Phillies in Philadelphia and the Twins and Guardians play a doubleheader in Minneapolis. The model, which simulated each of the 16 games on Tuesday’s schedule 10,000 times, is picking the Chicago White Sox (+110) to take out the Los Angeles Angels at 9:38 p.m. ET (see tickets at StubHub). The White Sox send out righty Johnny Cueto (1-4, 3.19), who has dominated Los Angeles in his career, going 4-0 with a 1.34 ERA. Meanwhile, the Angels counter with rookie Chase Silseth (1-2, 4.96 ERA), who is winless in his last three starts and couldn’t get out of the second inning in his last outing.

In addition, Chicago’s Andrew Vaughn is having a standout season. The 24-year-old designated hitter ranks 13th in the majors in batting average (.314). In the month of June, he has an overall slash line of .340/.393/.440.
